November 2015. In the last election voters voted without knowing how to measure who to
vote for. There has never been a roadmap to help voters decide whether
the candidate was qualified — or not.
The outcome of electing someone who had nothing more than a politically correct smile has a good deal to do with why America just can't afford to elect another incompetent deceitful president.
If career politicians, paid pundits and highly paid propaganda pushers have their way — your next president will be one of their donor-backed darlings who plays ball. Oh yes, they trot out the ads full of lies, half truths, sound bites and clipped snip-its. You know how their game plays.
A qualified candidate does NOT need to be a military leader or a politician who has governed a state or been a lawmaker. Claiming that only a politician can be a politician is a big lie. It's a complete fabrication meant to keep American citizens outside their own government — "unless they play ball."
President's Job
The president’s job involves twists, turns and many more details than a few paragraphs, but it can be simplified into a few main responsibilities: Sign or veto bills; command the armed forces; preside over the executive branch of the government; nominate Supreme Court judges; and a few ceremonial duties.Of course, the president works with cabinet members, agencies and government departments and of course, the details of duty spider out into a maze that requires above average intelligence and good organization abilities.
The president must have also demonstrated the ability to get along with the 535 men and women in Congress (435 Representatives and 100 Senators) without getting angry or shouting; as well as, get along with America's allies and enemies around the world; — and make profitable deals that benefit the people who count on those deals.
How are voters supposed to measure the candidate's qualifications?
Which candidate has the best skills and abilities to make your life better next year and the year after and after that. It's not a popularity contest. It's not a beauty competition or a congeniality scorecard. You are voting for the person best qualified to keep you and your family safe, improve access to decent-paying jobs, and pay down America's debilitating Trillion-Dollar debt.
How a candidate feels about social issues is important — but in all fairness, doesn't every decent American care about the drug problem, babies, birth, women and fair wages? For the most part, issues such as drugs should be addressed locally — not by the federal government. These topics are meant to distract you from today's important qualifications.
Realistically, personal opinions and preferences should not weigh into the decision for one big reason: The President should not let his personal beliefs enter into his doing job in the Oval Office. It is the people's government, isn't it? It's not the President's government.
America is going in the wrong direction. Most everyone agrees with that. Aren't security, jobs and America's $Trillion debt the most important issues in the coming election?
The Office of President is NOT a job for guesswork, hopes, wants and wishes. Your future cannot rely on an intern who has no real-world history of success. Support the candidate who has the resume to back up their promises.
Voters must consider real world qualifications and how the candidate's real world qualifications transforms to the key areas that need solving.
In the coming 2016 election, most Americans want a president who is fresh and clean and untainted by the Washington machine's donor class. No more incumbents. No one with any history of politics. That's the only way to clean up Washington. Isn't that true?
Presidential Qualities
To be qualified, the next president must have a history of Leadership, Management, Communication, Negotiation, Problem-Solving, Achievements. That's a roadmap that makes sense.Candidates should have a vision for America, a plan, path and purpose. The candidate must be an acknowledged leader recognized by advisors, stakeholders, employees and the public — not just self-serving politicians, special interests and lobbyists.
Of course, Ethics and Honesty are proof of good character. No one wants another President who lies to you.
Of course, everyone now knows Hillary Clinton lied about Benghazi, but there is a long list of Hillary lies
It's important for voters to support a candidate who is honest and trustworthy.
Nothing builds honesty and trustworthiness more than a "can do" attitude with a track record of achievement
to back it up. Keep in mind that "achievements" are not "titles."
Achievements are actions that have a favorable or positive outcome in
spite of obstacles and naysayers who said "it can't be done."
An achiever demands the best of himself and inspires others to do their best.
Trust is the voter's ability to rely on the achievements of a candidate as proof of their abilities to do what the candidate says he/she will do.
Being reliable means having the courage to do what you say even when those around you either don't want you to or don't think you can.
When weighing who deserves your vote, think about the mess America is in
today. The next President of the United States won't be just the next
president. He may be the last president. Yes, of course, it
sounds far fetched. Maybe it is, but with the Iran Deal and ISIS, it's
also a fact no reasonable person should ignore. Think about that when
you decide who to support.
Take time to make your choice based on the evidence. Words like nice,
compassion, well spoken, fluent, eloquent, quick wit — and well
rehearsed speeches are not qualifications.
In the last election voters voted without knowing how to measure who to
vote for. Now you know. Now, you have a roadmap to help you support and
vote for the most qualified candidate. Leadership, Management,
Communication, Negotiation, Problem-Solving, Achievements.
Vote for the one who has the strength to fight against the Washington
Machine to make your life better. The one you know in your heart who
will solve America's problems no matter who tries to stop him.
