In 2010, after 10 years as a key leader of the KKK and 51 years in the U.S. Senate, Democrat Robert Byrd died.

President Barack Obama, VP Joe Biden, Bill and Hillary Clinton among other prominent Democrats praised Byrd’s achievements. No one knows how many American citizens believe that was a  disgraceful display of betrayal to Black Americans.

In 1865, after the Civil War, after Republican President Abraham Lincoln's emancipated the slaves... Republicans abolished slavery and white supremacy.

However, despite the Civil War amendments, democrats, didn’t agree Blacks should be free.

The American Revolution (1775 – 1783) and the adoption of our U.S. Constitution (1776) established the precedent and legal right to U.S. Citizenship, exclusively to existing citizens and their descendants. 

There were NO EXCLUSIONS. Black Americans [previously British slaves] were at that very moment, U.S. Citizens. 

In 1866, The Civil Rights Act acknowledged Citizenship for Emancipated Slaves.

In 1861, Republican President Abraham Lincoln was often called Honest Abe, a man of integrity. That was when politicians were held to the highest standard of truth. He said slavery was wrong. Those words shortly turned into Civil War.

The American Civil War (1861 – 1865) was a bloody battle for and against slavery. It was a fight between Confederates aka Democrats — wealthy plantation owners who wanted their Black slaves; and the Union aka Republicans — true Americans who believed that life was not disposable.

In the early stages of a new land not yet free from England, boats showed up in the colonies with Black people from other countries unloaded. imprisoned on plantations, forced to work in fields as slaves and brutalized by overlords.

Plantation owners became wealthy with captive labor. For hundreds of years, slaves were treated with utter disregard for basic human rights and liberty: They were disposable property.

America was never a racist country. History records the truth that the democrats embrace slavery, but because slavery is not popular with the people, democrats point to political opponents as racists.
