First, what attracted me was the all-star cast. I could not imagine how they could fit all these actors into such a short timeframe. It may not have been much, especially for my favs, but every star had a special slot and it was meaningful to boot. Yea!
Of course, these mini-movies inside the overall movie were short and mixed up like putting ingredients into a bowl to bake a cake.
The cool thing is that the parts were so cleverly scripted that it was easy breezy to follow along.
What was interesting were the miniature story lines. There's a life lesson in there somewhere. From family to loyalty to what love really means, this movie illustrated the message in a few frames. Nice.
Aston Kutcher and Jennifer Garner were awesome. Nice to look at and even more enjoyable to share their experiences. Totally believable. Totally the right ending. A big smile.
I didn't really like the part that Jessica Alba played, but she was acting. Not really her. But true to life and life sometimes is not fun. But painful. Confusing. Brutal.
Surprise. Surprise. How wonderful to see Shirley Maclaine and Hector Elizondo. Fabulous. True to form.
Queen Latifah was awesome even in her allotted time. Fantastic to see her make her character special.
No words can praise Jamie Foxx best. He is simply outstanding and he didn't disappoint in this interesting role.
This is a delightful movie that has something to say about friendship, faith and fibbing.
Yes, this flick is probably overpacked with familiar super stars, but it wouldn't be as entertaining with no-name actors. The super stars is what made the mini stories ambrosia.
It's probably true by most standards that this is not a major motion picture. It's not meant to be. It's engaging. Entertaining. Enjoyable.
When I needed a movie to whisk me away to wonderland and leave my troubles behind for at least a hour plus… then this enchanting movie did the trick. Simply Scrumptious.
