Hello blog, a few days ago, I told you about my feelings catching up with my sister on Farmville. Well… My sister sent a text today. Boo hoo, she's upset that I passed her in Farmville. Just joking [good one]. She followed up with a phone call and I think she is proud of me. Okay, blog. That is silly. No, not silly. I can hear her smile with each word. I am so lucky to have such a great sister.
Well, my big regret is that we were both so busy raising kids, that we missed sistering for a good number of years. Of course, the 3,000 or so miles didn't help. Things are now as they should be. Yeah! [huge smile, giggle, kiss sounds]
Anyway, I was taking a break when she called. I can't believe it, but I am actually planning my script. You remember, blog, don't you. It's my one mega goal. I want to write an academy award winning script. A doozie. A talk-of-the-town story that becomes a classic.
If so, then my sister will have to make her hubby watch my move. [She reports that he falls sleepy when a movie runs in the home theater.] Wake up. Wake up Jack. You must watch my movie. That's my chant… when, that is, when I finish my blockbuster movie script and it's made into a movie and comes out on a DVD. I guess you're safe, Big J, for now anyway.
Just think of me taking that memorable trip up to the podium to accept my gold statue. Yikes! I can hardly wait.
Meanwhile, I will just write my regular stuff.
On another note, and completely in line with Jack's sleepy time, my honey is right now, this very moment, taking an afternoon nap in front of the TV. Men! They do need their rest. I hope it's not because of their women. I don't drive my honey to exhaustion, do I? No no no.
What's really funny is Bailey is sleeping, too. When my honey naps, Bailey naps, too. It's like the dog is a mirror of him. He be master. Dog follows. Heap big loyal. Okay, I've gone too far.
You see sis, writing about "nothing" is fun. Your life is interesting, not boring. You have things to say. Say 'em. Let's hear it. Sound off. Put it out there. It's okay, and it really feels good… even if no one but you reads it. [Secret: I will read it.]
Here I go getting into your business. Stop me. I do not want to be a nosey sister. I don't want to butt into your business. I just want to know more about all the things I missed in the "in between" years. Write it up. Tell me what you think.
Okay, stop me. I am doing it again. [GAD]
Well, I don't have much more to say today, blog. It's quiet here around the old homestead. Hot outside. It's Texas. I'll sign off today.
Good night blog. Good night sis. Good night Big J.
