Morning blog. It's another sad day for the family. My honey's dad passed yesterday evening. You might recall that he had a stroke the last week of December. We thought he recovered and it was a happy time. He went straight out and bought himself a new BMW to celebrate his recovery.
Unfortunately, it was short lived. Unexpected. He had another stroke in January and was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer in February. He passed March 2, 2011 at about 9 pm.
Dan, Sr. was retired from the Air Force. He will be buried with Military honors.
Life is a funny old dog. One moment, it's a bright sunny day filled with hope and joy. Only a moment in time later, life as we know it here on earth is done… completed as if it is a journey taken step by step through a maze of choices and experiences.
I am saddened by this loss. He was a good man. Beloved. He will be missed and remembered.
