It's a Pain in My Side

Yikes! Oouii gazoui. I got a visitor and it was pain in my side. So what does this mean? Should I search the Internet, call the doctor or race to the hospital? I have never been one to overreact… okay maybe I went a little too far with worry when it comes to my children or my hone or my dog, but not me. Hmmm…

Anyway, I am not sure what to do. The pain is gone this morning, but visited last night. What kind of a guest comes and goes like this? Not good. Well, the first thing I decided to do was, guess what, move my mouse, point to Google and enter my keywords, "pain in my side."

I learned how pain begins. Yea, I get that since I felt this discomfort that gave me a grimace… only hours ago. Then there is the where. This is important. Why worry about pain in my foot when it's in my side? Hah ha.

The Internet says… Left side abdominal pain is often more common in women and young adults. Okay, that describes me.

There are lots of common causes of a left sided abdominal pain, include bowel problems, like diverticulitis, and constipation, to pain arising from muscles and skin over the left side of the abdomen. [not a pleasant topic] The right side abdominal pain is usually caused by appendicitis, the usual location of the appendix. No right side pain so I am safe from appendicitis.

Clicking to a new page, I am stunned to learn that one of the symptoms points to colon cancel. [Say What?]

Most colon cancer does not trigger pain within the early stages. [Okay, it's either not colon cancer… or it's not the early stages]Which is why it's so crucial for everyone more than 50 years aged to be screened. It really is much less difficult to remedy colon cancer when it's small and hasn't spread anyplace.

The Internet page also says that occasionally the stool inside of the colon will get stopped and backs up triggering pain. This can happen from straightforward constipation due to several things or due to the fact a polyp has grown big enough to make an obstruction. Your doctor will likely be able to ascertain what's going on.

Yikes! Stopped up? [sorry about this topic today blog] But here's another problem... I do have another tooth ache. That's two. Two root canals I need. [Boo hoo] I got one root canal a month or so ago, and I did know then that I had another sick tooth right above the fixed tooth. I've been putting off going through another fun day at the dentist. But my upper toothie does hurt from time to time and so I may not be chewing up my bites of food as I should. Maaaaaybe… this is why my body is objecting with pain in my side. Hmmm… I get the feeling I am falling apart. [oh no]

So now it's embarrassing, but blogging about this may help someone. As for me… I'm no fool, I'm making an appointment and getting myself to the answer-man. Junga. Junga. Junga.

That's all for today.
