It's creamy and fruity and oh so yummy. This is one of those fruit drink recipes that is easy and quick to make. It has health benefits, too. He blends it up for me to have with my morning cereal. [I love cereal and I believe that's okay. You don't have to be a kid to love Cherrios or Honey Nut Corn Flakes.] Anyway, he serves it so that I can enjoy it with my breakfast, and sometimes he makes it for me to have with lunch or brunch or while watching the evening news on TV.
I haven't quite mastered blended drinks yet, but I am planning to take a cooking course soon. That should help. My honey is a really good cook.
This recipe for strawberry-banana smoothie is refreshing as an anytime beverage or dessert. Serve in wine glasses or a tall goblet that you have on the shelf. It looks so elegant and festive... almost as if it took you hours to prepare. Drink up!
