I simply adore Stevie and what she wants from her old gma, she gets! That's all there is to that.
I still have a Milkglass punch bowl from the 60s I use. Any big bowl will do. Use cups, everydat glasses or stemware. Have fun.
Well, oddly this oversight of mind has been on my mind for the last few weeks. With another holiday always around the corner, this lovely recipe for a punch fits the bill. Always welcome by the kids and tkids kids, too.
Sweetheart Raspberry Punch
Ingredients
46 oz pink grapegruit juice
10 oz package of frozen raspberries
Quart bottle of ginger ale
Pink of raspberry sherbet
So simple. Combine the grapefruit juice and frozen berries in your favorite punch bowl or pretty pitcher [with a lid]. The raspberries should thaw fairly quickly, but make an hour ahead to be sure.
Stir in the ginger ale and sherbet just before you're ready to serve.
Drink up and enjoy!
Makes about 10 to 12 cups or stem glassware; or 6-8 goblet glasses full

This recipe is healthy, tasty and fun.
Tip: For a nice touch, I like to chill the stemware and have "stemware charms" handy. These are identity rings most hosts use when serving wine but it works easily for punch, too. It's fun and helps people know what glass they are drinking from.
Note: Cooking is just so much more fun... and easier... when you do the unexpected. Chill everyday glasses, use stemware or add a decoration that you normally would save for a holiday.
