It's Make-It-Monday. This recipe is an All-American meal from Heinz. Depending on how many mouths you feed, you may have leftovers for another meal, plus some grand sandwiches.
The recipe uses lean ground beef. There are four basic ground beef choices. The difference with ground beef is the fat content and possibly the price.
Of the four levels, ground round is the leanest with only 10% fat. Ground Sirloin contains 15% fat; ground chuck has 20% fat; and ground beef has 27% fat content.
Most people choose 85% lean ground beef because it's healthier. Some people believe ground round and ground sirloin are good choices for foods such as stew, chili and spaghetti meat sauce. Ground chuck or ground beef are generally reserved for grilled hamburgers.
Cost might be a concern. Generally, the leaner the meat, the less the price. Unlike steaks, the degree of tenderness is not usually a factor with ground meat. The more fat generally means that ground meat will taste more tender.
Some fat is good, but there is good fat and bad fat. Most red meat contains bad fat, so it's a good idea to choose the leaner meat. More about fat, here.
I've made meatloaf for years using plain ordinary Ketchup. This Heinz 57 add-in is not plain Ketchup. It's King with a golden crown, a tangy twist on steak sauce that defies definition, and boundaries. Take a bite, stand up, throw your arms out and sing its praises. It's that good. Plus, according to the label, Heinz 57 has no cholesterol.

Cholesterol is an essential substance for the body's normal function, but when cholesterol levels in the blood get too high, it becomes a silent killer that puts the body at risk for heart attack. There are two types of cholesterol. Good (HDL) and Bad (LDL). You want to know your limit before you eat another bite of food.
