Is Washington just peachy, or is it a mess? Do you want to clean up Washington? If you're not sure, read on.
Do you feel safe? Do you believe America offers a competitive job
market? Do you want to continue raising America's debt beyond $20
Trillion?
It's 100 days until the first vote in the 2016 presidential election.
Next Fall, the voters will elect the next President of the United
States, as well as: 35 Senators and 24 House Representatives in Congress.
A. Americans can't afford and don't want an unqualified fast-talker
smooth-talker loose-talker — any more than we can afford the same old
song and dance that got America into civil disorder, too many jobless
and unrestrained spending.
Voters want their government to be administered by the most qualified person to do the job. That's common sense, isn't it?
It makes sense, then, to ask yourself whether of not your candidate is a popular political myth or actually qualified
to serve your best interest in your government, doesn't it? After all,
you do not want to make matters worse in Washington, do you?
B. In past elections, career politicians and their special interest backers have created a myth that political experience is the experience that qualifies a candidate. It that really true or is that a false notion?
A quick look back at elected officials reveals the truth.
Key Qualifications
First, Federal, State, County and City Office, such as President, Vice President, Secretary of State, Governor, Senator and Mayor are not qualifications. They're titles.Everyone agrees that leadership, problem-solving and negotiation skills are key qualifications for success in the Republic of the United States of America. Americans want to be successful at home and abroad. Isn't that what you want?
In too many cases, the performance of those elected to office in those three key areas is abysmal. For most, the reason is because the title-holder is NOT qualified to do the job. What's even worse is that once the unqualified get themselves elected — they are re-elected time and again. Their donor-backers see to that, don't they?
In a few other instances, those who were actually qualified do perform a good job.
Second, elected officials have historically showed their devotion to special interests, tagging on addendums to legislation, voting no without reason, holding up the process, refusing to compromise, insisting on spending more than there is money, refusing to make budget cuts, increasing America's debt, and the list goes on.
Is it the lack of common sense resume qualifications that the people's government is bloated with incompetent career politicians? Read on.
Third, some elected officials blame anyone who disagrees, rather than subscribe to give-and-take negotiations. The worst of the lot are those who are disrespectful, employ deliberate and sustained character assassination with the intention of destroying the credibility and reputation of a person, political party and/or legislation.
Politicians together with their devotees typically employ a mix of open and covert methods to achieve their goals, such as raising false accusations, planting and fostering rumors, manipulating information and downright deception.
What Does Public Service Mean
What's important to remember is that the American people elect their representatives to serve the people's best interests. Not for the political party, but for the people of the United States of America. Those who are elected to office often forget that. Both liberals and conservatives forget that. Too many focus on the political party when they should be focused on the people. What the people want. What would make life better for the people. What would make all people happy. Isn't that right?
That's exactly what's happened, hasn't it?
Private Life versus Government Life
Who is best qualified to serve as the President and in Congress? There's no doubt that the American people want the best qualified men and women to serve in the U.S. government. To elect the best qualified, candidates must reveal their track record in leadership, problem-solving and negotiation skills, shouldn't they?
It's the special interests and donor backers who have promoted the agenda that even incompetent politicians are the only ones who can be President and be elected to Congress. Is this true, or is it myth?
The U.S. government is not a training exercise. It's not a place to learn needed skills. It's not a place for newbies or interns who have no record of success, no history of achievement, no demonstration of leading others to achieve a common goal. Getting yourself elected to office is NOT a qualification. In fact, a high percent of those in Congress are incompetent, never had any qualifications in the first place, and hug the myth as their "experience," which is grossly false and misleading.
Everyone agrees that a history of leadership, problem-solving and negotiation skills are key qualifications for success in life, and it's especially relevant when serving the people in the Republic of the United States of America. Americans want to be successful at home and abroad. Isn't that what you want?
Elected office is intended for patriots who have a willingness to put aside regular life (for a time) to perform a service for your country. It's NOT supposed to be a job for life.
Government service is not supposed to be a career with a high paid salary, automatic salary increases, puckered with breaks and vacations. The reason there are career politicians is easy to figure out: Special interests and donor backers embed deeper and deeper in the halls of our government, the longer they can keep "their man" in office.
It's the biggest fraud on the American people ever seen playing out every day before our very eyes. It's control through bribery and extortion that would make the Al Capone envious. Government service has become a tit-for-tat job. No one "bucks" the establishment without getting bloody.
The administration of the U.S. government is a patriotic service done for the people, all people, all races, creeds and nationalities, all citizens. An American patriot is a person who loves, supports and defends America and its interests with devotion.
Private Life
Candidates who come from the private sector are best for the very reason that their history of accomplishment can be examined. This offers the American people the cream of the crop who have already proven their knowledge, skills and capabilities to administer the government in the best interests of the people.
American voters want to know the candidates:
(1) history of leadership with large numbers of employees, managers, supervisors and teams;
(2) experience managing tangibles such as salaries, grievances and disagreements, morale; operating budgets, expenses, expenditures, cost containment and allocation; as well as as well as, intangibles such as balancing return on investment (ROI) and any other quantitative measurement of performance;
(3) healthy track record of problem-solving; (4) examples of successful negotiation; and (5) list of achievements that benefited all the various stake holders.
Any candidate who claims to be qualified to serve the people of the United States of America should be able to describe at least one goal for the country in definable terms. Not speeches about "what we should do," but real solutions, a plan that outlines "what we will do."
Government Life
The myth delivers a slate of candidates who have been chosen by a few who have money and influence to put "their man" in office. That's NOT the way the government should be run, is it?In fact, too many times, the myth puts elected officials in office who are incompetent. Many are unqualified — even ignorant — people who make horrible deals for America and the American people.
Sentiment also plays into the scenario for smooth talkers who have the ability to snap snappy at a debate. After shining a light on work history and actual qualifications snap snappy didn't work, did it? Voters will not be fooled. Not anymore.
The bloat of dishonest, incompetent career politicians wreaks havoc on the American people's government, our communities, neighborhoods, home and families. It's not good for the American people when Congress bargains bad to make good on the promises made to donors.
The myth that a candidate has to have held previous office in government is the essence of continued greed and corruption.
That's not all.
The myth is perpetuated by (1) disrupting the status quo of peace and tranquility; (2) creating an environment of discontent and distraction; and (3) diluting authority. These three offenses keep the people searching for an answer.
That's makes it easy for career politicians to persuade you to vote for their false promises.
Voters don't want any more patty-cake politics that only serves Washington politicians and special interests. That's done.
How to Clean Up Washington
To clean up the mess in Washington, every Senator and every House Representative must go and cannot be re-elected.Every Democrat from Barack Obama to Joe Biden to Hillary Clinton and Senator Bernie Sanders must go. The Democratic socialists cannot be trusted. Every Republican who has sat in office too long, such as Mitch McConnell must go.
The next President of the United States cannot be anyone connected with establishment politics. Not one of the 35 Senators and 24 House Representatives in Congress up for election — can be re-elected. That's the only way to clean up Washington.
From the smallest city and town to Washington elected and re-elected, they must all go. That's the only way for the people to take back their government. No more incumbents.
No more career politicians. No more lies. No more social issue attraction, subtraction and distractions. No more division. No more party rhetoric. No more corrupt "old guard" cronyism.
No need for tar and feathers. If they refuse to resign, voters can vote them all out of office.
The American people are sick and tired of the so-called popular political myth that says a candidate has to have held political office to be qualified. We know that's bunk.
Term limits must be established. Salaries must be adjusted to reflect a reasonable stipend similar to military salaries, and automatic salary increases must stop. The job of serving our country is a not-for-profit job.
Qualifications for public office better include a candidates's successful track record of leadership, management, problem-solving, negotiation and achievements in the private sector.
The people want their government back, and American voters are not going to vote for career politicians. Take that to the bank.
Americans want the best qualified people in government. Leaders who have proven themselves in their private life are the obvious people who can best serve America.
