POTUS Job Interview

I wear many hats: Most women do. With my housewife hat on, I want to vote for the candicate who makes my family’s life safe. That’s my top want. After that, I’d like a little less in tax and a lot more listening from those I vote for.

My biggest complaint is PROPERTY taxes. I know it’s a State tax, but this tax never allows an American to own land without fear of it being tken away. It’s a gross smerch on the American Dream. Once we own our land, it should be ours to live, work and “will” to our children. That’s my gripe. But…

Whoever I choose, I VOTE. I’ll never have any hope if I don’t participate in the process.

Here's a must-have checklist to help you decide the candidate who will improve your life and keep you safe. That’s my number one concern. Safety. That’s supposed to be the job of President of the United States (POTUS), isn’t it?

There didn't used to be a checklist. No one really thought about Presidential qualifications. It’s different now, isn’t it?

Were you one of those little boys or girls who was told with pride anpromise at one time or another, "You can be President of the United States."

It's part of the American Dream, isn't it? You can grow up and be whoever you want. Do amazing things. Become rich, sail the seas, climb the highest mountain. It's inspiring, isn't it? Those thoughts.

After witnessing what passes for decency in American politics today, that statement may not be as promising as it once was.

Politics in America has turned into this dirty little game of spin and slander. Half truths, slanted lies, disgusting poisonous language against good people who say they want to serve their country. What has happened to America? What kind of people have some Americans turned into? Is this what hardship has done? Lack of money? Lack of hope?

Americans want to be noticed. "Hey, look at me. Does anyone up there on Capital Hill see the heartache I feel every day?" Senators and Representatives seem to vote for what THEY want. They’re supposed to vote what WE want. They promised us.

So those same little boys and girls full of promise, shout, rally and protest, because of their discontent and desperation. Does anyone listen?

It's a surprise anyone wants to run for President of the United States these days. How can any American separate the weak from the strong candidate?

Donald Trump is a good example. Trump maybe isn't perfect to some. What Politician is perfect? No doubt about it. Trump roars, dislikes the bad deals that Politicians make for America, and trumpets his front runner status with pride and prejudice. He likes to win. Who wants a winner in the White House?

Can America put a do-nothing, all-talk no action, slow-talking President in the White House? Is that who you think will help America return to promise and prosperity? Don’t we want a roaring lion to keep us safe?

One thing can't be disputed. Trump knows how to get things done. He's successful. He's raised smart, savvy children who grew up to be admired young adults. He's successful in business. He's rich, and he's stayed rich by making smart deals and overcoming monstrous hurdles. Anyone with a brain can see that. True?

Trump has met his goals and solved problems along the way. Any reasonable person can admit that, can't you?

Donald Trump shakes hands with his American Dream every day. Now, he wants to help Americans find their American Dreams, too. Would you like to make your American Dream come true?

Think about this. Trump puts himself in front of "Party Politicians" and pundits and moderators and some unfair media reporters like a Thanksgiving turkey knowing he's going to get ambushed and lambasted with half truths and lies.

He knew he would suffer financially. Lose money, as well as, pay out his own money so that he could keep his promise to you and all Americans. He doesn't owe favors to lobbyists, special interests and donors. He has no "baggage" and that makes all the difference. Don't you agree?

Trump may be an unexpected Presidential Candidate,  but he must really love America and the American people to do all that. Every honest person has to respect that. Shouldn't they? Don't you?

Yes, he snaps back at those who insult and treat him unfairly. Wouldn't you? What’s he supposed to do? Roll over, cry like a baby, give up? Is that who you want to lead us?

Every now and then, top businessmen know he has to clean house. Sweep out the dirt. Wash the waste. Start fresh from a stronger position. Trump's the only man who can do that. He's smart and America must be smart.

Americans who hurt from the economy, terrorists bombs, lack of a decent paying job, and especially America's desperation for better, greater — must have an IRON MAN who offers people HOPE.

You see, too many Americans don't really feel America is as great as it once was. Isn't that about how you feel?  Trump wants to restore the American Dream. No other candidate has a remote chance of doing what needs to be done. Like it, or not, America needs a warrior. People must look with wide open eyes. See the real trouble ahead. If a weak President sits in the Oval Office, weak won't keep America safe, will it?

Don't get side tracked. Don't let the ones who can't do the job deceive you. Don't let the ones who don't have the vision to even try to get the job done deceive you. Donald Trump is the only one who will clean house. The White House. Wouldn't that be great for America and the American people?

There is no other reasonable choice. America needs Donald Trump — more than he needs the job. That says alot right there. No Candidate is going to please every one of the 315M+ Americans. No Candidate checks 100% of the "Like" boxes. Trump comes real close. He has THE experience America needs right now. America needs a real leader.

Most Americans understand business, especially self employed entrepreneurs. Here's a checklist of basic leadership skills.

1. Vision. POTUS must have goals and recognize problems that need fixing. In business, goals might be to manage the budget, profits and losses. Ensure that the money coming in covers the money needed to run the business in order to manage cost containment.

In business, a problem might be to protect employees from harm. Deciding whether to install metal detectors at the door, key cards to stop and allow access to secure areas, and install a gated wall around the grounds.

2. Drive. POTUS must have the energy to make his vision a reality. In business, leaders have the commitment to move their vision forward, despite people saying it can't be done. A real leader perseveres despite obstacles.

3. Traits. POTUS must have characteristics that set him apart. In business, traits are characteristics that determine what you can do by what you have done to be successful, achieve goals and solve problems satisfactorily.

4. Communication. POTUS must be able to communicate. In business, a leader has the ability to speak and write. A successful leader inspires people to work together toward goals and solutions.

5. Motivation. POTUS must be able to motivate people. In business, a leader motivates people to contribute to the goals and solutions and inspires them to want to do their best.

6. Planning. POTUS must have a plan. In business, a leader plans and leads in management, but leaves details to managers to keep all parties involved together and moving toward successful completion of the goals and solutions.

7. Commitment. POTUS must be committed but flexible. In business, as in life, there are unexpected hurdles. A leader must be committed to the goals and solutions, but also willing to make necessary adjustments as needed.

In business, a CEO with these seven qualifications can lead any company to greatness. The best CEO is the man or woman with a record of successful achievement.
