Syrian Refugees Flood America

October 2021. First, it was humanity, reinforced by those words "huddled masses" and finally it's our American values that have given rise to the debate about whether to flood our country with thousands of Syrian refugees.

Pundits call Americans who fear these unknowns, xenophobic — which means unreasonably fearful of or hating anyone or anything foreign or strange.

This is exactly the slant that the media force-feeds viewers.

There's nothing unreasonable about concern for American's safety from terrorists. No one hates the refugees. Americans have every right to raise alarms. Be cautious.

Little thought from the media is given to compassion for the American people.

Why can't moms and dads and children fear being murdered when they take the family dog for a walk.

Decent people recall the horror of the Twin Towers on 9-11 and recall the shock of people cheering America's pain on television.

Good people, Americans, remember that unbearable feeling of grief.

Yet, our own President Biden whose duty it is to protect the American people refuses to understand or listen or commiserate with how Americans might feel. He insists on having it his way.
That’s how I feel.
