December 1, 2021, SCOTUS reconsidered the constitutionality of 1973 Roe v Wade, which had legalized abortion nationwide. The hearing was broadcast for the benefit of the public. The 9 justices asked questions that were brought up in 1973. That’s how they conduct a review.
Oddly enough, attorneys on both sides
“for and against” abortion argued the same issue. Women’s Rights based
on privacy. health or whatever else the attorneys could think of to
convince SCOTUS not to overturn Roe v Wade, including the kitchen sink.
After
listening to the December hearing and before the ruling, I wrote and published facts I

Initially, after the 1973 decision, there were news reports. The public was in favor of life -- even including some Democrats — who were quickly silenced.
CBS News reported... Monsignor James McHugh, a longtime leader on human life issues in the Catholic Church, said it was "teaching people abortion is a rather innocuous procedure provided there are proper legal safeguards" and that it would "tear down the respect" for life.
