USA Core Values: 4 of 12, Freedom

Our values are not isolated or individual; but intertwined with each other like a warm patchwork quilt:

Values such as, Citizenship, Faith, Life, Freedom, Family, Home, Decency, Knowledge, Education, National Pride, Allegiance, Safety, Security, The American Dream

It’s well documented that Americans value freedom.

The 1775-1783 American Revolutionary War, the War of 1812 and the Civil War all resulted in America’s fight for freedom.

Freedom is represented by the Statue of Liberty, Our Liberty Bell carries the name of “liberty” aka freedom, Our Declaration of Independence claims our “freedom,” and our inalienable rights.

Our U.S. Constitution guarantees  “Life, liberty, property and equal protection of the laws.” Our Bill of Rights guarantees our rights and values. Our National Anthem lyrics reinforce “land of the free.”

We believe America offers everyone their own American Dream. In other words, the freedom to follow our heart’s desire to work hard and make our dreams come true.

Over the decades, our values gave birth to innovation that bloomed on kitchen tables and inside garages. It’s been a glorious “one for all and all for one."

You see, it’s because of our core values that we are selfless people. We’re strong, fearless, determined people. We base our behavior in our belief in God, decency and respect for each other.

We never wait to be asked when we’re needed. We know instinctively that our fellow Americans need help. We spring into action — and we help.

During the 1918 Spanish Flu, we took care of ourselves, our families, friends and neighbors: With no thought of payment, no fear, nno vaccines, lockdowns, mask mandates, what’s been called the worst pandemic in history, was over within 18 months.

We fought in two world wars and won both. No matter how horrendous a natural disaster or even the manmade attack on September 11, 2001 that took the Twin Towers down -- Americans from every corner of our country travel to support fellow Americans.

True Americans love our way of life and are united in all causes to defend ourselves against adversity.

Name a country that offers a better way of life than the American way of life with all it's rights, privileges and protections. ///
