Americans strive to protect who we are as a nation, who were are as a person, an American Citizen and our American heritage.
How we behave protects our rights, benefits and way of life.
Everyday, it’s our individual unwavering commitment to decent conduct that saves us from evil, and all its misery.
We reject temptation by how we present ourselves; in all we think, do and say. It's how we exhibit our respect for God and our fellow citizen that cements our bond, saves our soul, our union, our family and citizenship.
Decency is why Americans are the most generous people in the world. We are a kind, loving people. We yearn to learn. We are smart, inventive, hard working, creative and courteous.
We love God. We think of others before ourselves. We speak our minds, but listen more than we talk.
We are understanding of others, and quick to forgive. We put respect above slander. We offer love, not hate. We are polite and honest. We respond without hesitation to help our fellow American.
We believe in being a good example: “We do unto others as we want others to do unto us.”
Americans demonstrate decency in thought, word and deed. We choose good, modesty and chastity. We present ourselves to reflect our good. We read and write our good. We speak and hear only good.
From books, movies, TV and radio programs, we choose God, family and our beloved country. We respect our laws, values and morality, especially for our children. We protect life and liberty.
We maintain a standard that honors God and His Commandments. We rebuke bad habits, bad language, addiction, murder, thievery, drugs, alcohol, gambling and sex without marriage. We reject sin in all its forms.
We live our life on a path to unlimited joy for all eternity.
Decency is one of America’s core values. It’s intertwined with all other of our values.///
