Knowledge is a core value of the American people.
Americans thrive on knowledge. The amount and level of knowledge affects how life is lived.
Learning how-to skills leads to prosperity and a better life.
With
knowledge, American men, women and children gain information that
offers options and opportunities. In simple language, it’s the
difference between the “haves and the have nots.”
Americans work to achieve their dreams, life goals, survival. Typically, income needed to support lifestyle choices stem from a job. That’s just one option.
Options open doors to become employed, to become an employer, or to be self-employed.
Jobs include being an entrepreneur, inventor, financial wizard, scientist, business leader, teacher, doctor, nurse, veterinarian, fireman, policeman, represent our nation, state, city or county.
Opportunities refer to a wide open window to create, innovate, build things, start a business, meet the right person, fulfill goals and dreams.
With knowledge, we can also better defend ourselves, our family, home, our point of view, our country.
Knowledge also leads to informed consent; the ability to judge truth from falsehoods; and right versus wrong. Knowledge leads to good decisions, and good decisions lead to the best way of life possible.
Knowledge can be applied at home with good parenting, good examples, discipline, responsibility, reward and punishment, understanding, kindness, gratitude and education.
You see, every single American has rights guaranteed by our Constitution. In the alternative, Americans also have the right to anticipate and expect that we will respect each other’s rights. This means “respect of our laws, as well as, our core values. In other words, no one has the right to interpret their rights in such a way as to harm individuals or the nation as a whole. Knowledge insures that commitment.
Knowledge is the foundation of the family’s standard of living, your ability to provide for yourself and your family. It’s essential for “informed consent” in an election from school board to President of the United States.
These is some of the reasons that knowledge is an important core value. ///
