When the family cook aches up and down and all around, what do you do? Good morning, blog. I am feeling blank today. I remember my nightmare visit to the dentist for a cleaning and came away with four-times the bill that was told to me. Say WHAT>
Now, I guess I needed all that stuff. I mean x-rays and perio drink and
the dental cleaning, but the estimate I agreed to was for a cleaning and
the bill was supposed to be $19 after insurance.
This was a surprise and like many people, I just paid it and didn't speak up. Now, I am feeling cheated, used and taken advantage of. As I look back on yesterday, I get a strong feeling that they were desperate for "sales." For billings... [Junga junga junga] and I was a convenient pigeon.
So, this morning, after a good night's rest, I have come up with a recipe that is sure to make me feel better. I call it, when life is a bitter drink, add some sweetener, but whatever you do, do not wallow in woulda shoulda coulda.
Sweetening up how you feel is different for everybody. Heck, it's different for me depending on what the bitter in my day is. I mean this dentist bill feels like a rip-off, but I did get the services... just not the services I agreed to. But truth be faced... I probably would have agreed to all that was done. So I can't feel to bad about the money... But I don't like the appearance of deception. Hmmm [Is this just me?]
Anyway, to soothe the bitter taste in my mouth over this experience, I decided that the solution was to whiten my teeth with one of those whitening kits.
I don't smoke. Never have. Well, I may have puffed a time or two in high school, but that certainly doesn't count after all these years. Plus, my teeth are just plain old and stained from what I eat and drink.
Now, even though I am eating a gazillion times better that I used to, I still am prey to my morning coffee. Sipping, gulping, drinking down even one cup of coffee runs over the teeth and after awhile, the bright white pearlies are no longer.
Yes... I think a bright white smile will make me feel better about this trip to the dentist. Whiter teeth is a recipe to take the bitter out of this dentist visit. It will help me have a sweeter whiter smile on this old face. This recipe is for the heart and mind but that still fills a body up with goodness.
That's it for today, blog.
