Hi my blog friend. Nothing much doing today. Sunday is the real rest day, even though we sometimes do stuff. Item one on the honey-do-list is done. I can't believe I can even say those words. It's done. What? Done, you say. What's done. Something on the honey-do-list? Done. WOW. I am still reeling from this. Disbelief. Shock. Awed.
Okay, there I go again. Over the top. But it is nice to check one item off the list. Now, I wonder if there is going to be a two check. We'll see. Next on the list is the Kitchen redo… you know… from faucet to the works. More on that as time marches forward swathing the word waiting again and again until the wait is over, no longer waiting, but doing.
Anyway, Bailey recovered from the humming sound of the vacuum. He's back to making his own sound, bark woof woof ruwoof at any person or vehicle that darns to come near our home. He even takes his indignation up a notch with this narlly whiney sound he intertwines into his standard woofery. Interesting. He has no problem communicating.
Well, blog, I confess that I missed church and church TV this morning. Bad, I know. I will try to do some reading and maybe catch Mass later today. I need a few prayers to help. While you're at it, can you throw in a tiny prayer request for me to win the Lottery. We've been playing the same ticket numbers for years, so it's only fair. Any day this month or next for the Lottery win would be good for me. [Big freakin grin on my face]
I am off to my real comfy recliner to space out in from of the TV. I like Leverage on Sunday evenings… [that's later] at least until they move this cool show to another night. That always happens just as I get used to what show is on what channel at what time. Boggles with that.
TV is one of our favorite forms of entertainment. That's why we invested in our entertainment system. Bose speakers, Big A TV. Huge dual chocolate auto recliners. Incredible. It's easy to 'lax' at our house. And 'lax' we do, as often as we can, which isn't as often as you'd think. Self employed people have a lot of benefits, including choosing their own relaxing time. But, that time may be called, sleeping. [Hah ha ha] No joke.
The easiest way for me to relax is with a good book. TV's fine. I like reruns, because I don't have to pay close attention. I already know what's going to happen. Weird, I know. But this way, I can read and have some 'noise' on that doesn't interrupt my reading. Hmmmm, now that I put that in print, it doesn't sound as good as it is when I'm doing it.
Rest, blog. Till tomorrow.
