Restaurant Review: How Good is the Food at Cheesecake Factory?

Yesterday my children invited me to share a meal with them at the Cheesecake Factory. It was the best and most fabulous Mother's Day Birthday combo I did enjoy. Surrounded by such love any mother can only hope for, I did feel the feeling a million times ten. It was another experience in motherdom that gives me cheek-crackin' smiles and goosebumps. I can't even begin to describe how lucky I am for these children now grown. It's is mammoth.

I was flowered, carded and given the heart of hearts that only love can give. I am blessed.

Dine we did and fun it was not to mention yummy. So tasty. Best of all was the seats in the chairs around the long of long restaurant tables set for us the happy family of the day. [Yea and Hoorah]

There were many faces ordering and eating. A variety of food choices from the menu sitting served as I glanced down the table top. All good. Yummy looking' good. But for me, I can only say what I tasted. The carnival of flavors not yet forgotten. Incredibly good food.

You see, I am an avid watcher of the Food Network. As such, I have become a bit of a food aficionado. I especially notice what the chef be judges say about the challenger dishes. So not a stellar food critic am I, I can say what tastes good to me and my palate with assurance. Truth be told.

First, there was David. Yeeoweee kazoweee, what a fabulous table server. Customer service just right. Attention. Not intrusive. Perfect. The Cheesecake Factory should give David a big fat raise or loaded bonus. He astounded me with his tasteful listening, but not too much rhetoric.

Next, the tablescape. Perfect. I'll say no more. It was set and styled perfect. That's all I have to say about that.

Finally, the food. Best for last [that says my son] is really first. Top notch. Conglamourous…

I ordered and was served in grand style, the Crab Hash. A brief glance at the description, I guessed this name should have been Eggs Benedict Con Crab, because that's what fit the description. To my delight, that is exactly what I got. Without a moment's delay, let me say, the Crab Hash was mouthwatering. Delicious. Fabulous. Exquisite.  Plus portion size was generous.

One of my ticks is Hollandaise Sauce. I either love it or recognize it for the fraud it is. The Hollandaise that spooned across my crab hill with two soft eggs laid gently on top was so incredibly delicious I felt a rush of taste delight. It took my breath away. So good. May I say to any diner of the Cheesecake Factory, the chefs here know what they are doing. This is not McDonald's or Wendy's. [bad comparison] In fact the food I devoured is in a special league all by itself. Delicious I say again.  This is the food prepared for ones who appreciate good food. Me. [Thank you my children]

But for the garnish and plating done, it would have been 11 when 10 was the won. Unfortunately, potatoes chopped in the Crab Hash itself turned serving more of the same on the side too much for eye and dine, as well. A slice or two of fresh fruit would better be a side dish with garnish a hoot. Hence, the overdo of potatoes made the plating not either pretty or picture.

Snap the shot for this meal of mine as my evaluation of the entire dine is 9 on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being best in the line.

I must say to you and all that we the family gathered round at the Cheesecake Factory in Allen at Watters Creek. It was good. Very very good. I have ordered from one at Stonebriar mall in Frisco, but I do not remember the food being so knock-me-out. Put this Allen restaurant on your go-list and visit often. I plan to.

That's all for today.
