Flavorful Salad Dressing
Salad Dressing
1 tablespoons olive oil
3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
3 teaspoons Dijon mustard
Fresh ground black pepper (to taste)
Smidgen of salt
Combine ingredients in small bowl. Whisk and refrigerate.
Save and store this very flavorful salad dressing in air tight jar in the refrigerator up to 2 weeks.
Drizzle over fresh greens and serve.
Use only what is needed to dress your salad (depending on the size of the salad you prepare).
Makes enough to dress about 10 to 12 salad servings.

I love to make my own salad dressing. For one it is much more nutritious because I know exactly what's in it. But also because it is less expensive to make my own than buy bottled dressing that usually sits on the shelf and goes bad before I use i all up.
Tip: I serve salad on the plate with dinner, but sometimes I put a salad serving in a fancy soup bowl or specialty bowl to spice up and make the meal feel really elegant and festive.
